Jovenel Moïse National School building was inaugurated on Tuesday. The inauguration was done in the presence of many government officials Marie Lucie Joseph, the Minister of National Education, the mayor of the commune of Fonds-des-Nègres and the senator of Nippes. The inauguration was done by Prime Minister Ariel Henry. The school building is located in Fonds-des-Nègres, in the Nippes department.

The school building has been prepared that can bear the shocks of the earthquake and tolerable of para-cyclonic standards. It has been constructed in an area of 3,200 m2. The building has an administrative block, nine classrooms (3 buildings of 3 rooms), a warehouse, two sanitary blocks (boys and girls), a water tower. Funds of National Education Fund has been used to constructing this school, this fund has been collected from the diaspora. Three of the 25 school infrastructures nearing completion are already ready to welcome students.

While expressing his feelings for the Former President of Haiti, Jovenel Moise, PM Henry said that he wants to salute the determination of President Moise for beginning this initiative to build the school infrastructures in the country. PM further praised teachers for their sense of duty towards the students, and President Moise also promised to carefully use the public resources for educating the country and improving the condition of the country.
