Guyana: Guyanese social media influencer and artiste Tisha Brodie, also known as Tavi Badiee, was gunned down in a targeted shooting in the Backseat of her SUV Uber by two shooters in Atlanta on Tuesday morning.
Tavi Badiee was shot at around 4: 30 am, and her car was stopped at a traffic light in the affluent Lindbergh Drive, Buckhead neighbourhood. As per the reports, her car was hit more than 20 times. Atlanta Police are investigating a deadly shooting as officers said they believe the incident, which killed a 30-year-old woman, was targeted. There is no word on a suspect at this time.
They were also investigating near Cheshire Bridge Road and Buford Highway earlier in the morning, just a short drive away. However, it is not yet known if these incidents are related. Atlanta Police said they are still working to gather information but believe, due to the large number of shell casings at the scene, there could have been multiple shooters.
Denardo Lee Gastin- American blogger, independent photographer and, inactive musician and raised in Atlanta, GA, also mourned the death of influencer Tisha Brodie. On his Facebook post, he penned down condolences note and said,”I never heard of her, but her name was Tisha Brodie, but went as Tavi Badiee. She’s from Guyana, and was a social media influencer, aspiring dancehall musician, onlyfans model, and socialite.”
Gastin added, “She was shot and killed early today here in Atlanta in the Buckhead area, while being a passenger in a Uber SUV, and from what it looks like, she was targeted, as she was the only one that was hit. She just turned 30 not too long ago, and my condolences go out to her loved ones.”
One of her friend named, Tráf Fik extended condolences and said, “Too many people close to me gone since this year started; friendly reminder stay prayed up & keep forgiving guys, it’s not a time to bash & wish bad on anyone, so take this challenge to ask your self every second, “whose next ?“ cause every day not promised. You did your time; you’ve impacted lives in a good way, your job is done, now rest easy MuhSissy, Muh Bad chargie.”
