Grenada: The government of Grenada shared an update on the retail prices of the several petroleum products such as Gasoline, Diesel, Kerosene and Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG), commonly known as Cooking Gas.
Here is the latest update on the prices of petroleum. Several petroleum products have witnessed a hike in petrol prices, whereas some remain unchanged.
The government of Grenada also shared an update on the petroleum products of the countries, such as CARIACOU and Petit Martinique.
Grenada:
Petroleum Products
- Gasoline: The retail price of the Gasoline remains unchanged in the new update of the government. The old retail price of Gasoline stood at $15.00/IG, and the new price is also the same.
- Diesel: The retail price of the diesel has also remained unchanged and stood at $15.00/IG
- Kerosene: The retail price of the Kerosene has witnessed a significant hike as the old price stood at $14.00/IG; on the other hand, the new price has been increased to $16.00/IG
LPG (Cooking Gas)
- 20 ibs Cylinder: The price of the LPG Cooking Gas has also remained unchanged as its old price was $40.00 and the new price come out same as $40.00
- 100 ibs Cylinder: The price of the cylinder has witnessed a significant surge as the old price stood at $299.40, whereas the new price increased to $333.15.
- Bulk: The price of the Bulk also witnessed an increase as the old price was $3.10/ib, whereas the price stood at $3.40/ib.
CARRIACOU
Petroleum Products
- Gasoline: The price of the petroleum product remained unchanged and stood at $15.00/IG.
- Diesel: The retail price of the Diesel in CARRIACOU also remained unchanged as the old price and new price stood at $15.00/IG
- Kerosene: The price of petroleum products has witnessed a significant hike as the old price stood at $14.70/IG, whereas the new price stood at $16.88/IG.
Petit Martinique:
Petroleum Products
- Gasoline: The old price of the product was $14.15/IG, and the new price of the Gasoline increased to $14.83/IG.
- Diesel: The diesel price also witnessed an increment as the old price was $14.35/IG, and the new price stood at $15.30/IG
- Kerosene: The old price of the Kerosene was $14.70/IG, and the new price has increased to $16.88/IG.
CARRIACOU and Petit Martinique
LPG (Cooking Gas)
- 20 ibs Cylinder: The price of the cylinder remained unchanged and stood at $49.00.
- 100 ibs Cylinder: The people of the country will have to pay more price for the product as the old price stood at $310.95 and the new price increased to $356.15.
- Bulk: The price of the product has also witnessed an increment in; the old price stood at $2.6/IB, and the new price increased to $3.40/IB.
The new retail prices are computed based on the average FCB costs that are for the period 13th April 2022 to 13th May 2022.
Consumers are strongly encouraged to immediately notify the price control/consumer Affairs in the Ministry of Finance if there is an instance of overpricing.
