Grenada: Registration for the finals of the Ministry of Sports/Blue Bubbles National Cross-Country Championship closes on Monday, Oct. 31, 2022. The Ministry of Sports is encouraging interested schools and clubs to register before the deadline.

Registration must be done online at Trackie Reg.com for teams to participate in the competition. People have to click link to register: https://www.trackie.com/…/grenada-national-xc…/480842/. 

Each team can register four persons per division. The finals of the Ministry of Sports/Blue Bubbles National Cross-Country Championship will be held on Nov. 4 from the Gulf Course.

Preliminary races have been held in preparation for the final race in St. Andrew, St. David, and St. George’s respectfully.

Private candidates seeking to write the May/June 2023 Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (C.S.E.C) and Caribbean advanced Proficiency Examination (C.A.P.E) are hereby informed that the deadline for payment of examination fees and for registration has been extended from Friday, Oct. 28, 2022, to Friday, Nov. 11, 2022.

1. Each candidate should write his/her full name, address, telephone numbers, date of birth, gender, and subjects at the back of the RECEIPT.

2. Students who are reusing their IA scores must be entered as ‘Resit’ or ‘Repeating’ and must produce the previous registration number.

3. Receipts should be submitted to the Educational Testing and Measurement Unit NO LATER than Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, by 4 p.m.

The Ministry of Education Youth Sports and Culture will be implementing a new policy for the maintenance of Major Playing fields – only, effective December 1 st 2022.

In phase one of this implementation two fields will be used as pilot Fields with gradual implementation to the other Major Fields.

This new arrangement is part of the Ministry’s mandate to ensure that Playing Fields are managed more effectively and will be supported by the implementation of the Ministry’s Policy on Sport and Physical Activity.

Consequently, the arrangement with current contractors on these major fields-only, will be affected as the Ministry transitions to the implementation of this new policy and reassures all affected that they will have an opportunity for consideration, to be part of the process moving forward.Â
