Grenada hosts Petite Martinique Whitsuntide Regatta Festival, know events

Petite Martinique Whitsuntide Regatta has returned to Grenada with full action-packed activities. The festival will culminate this weekend.

Grenada: Petite Martinique Whitsuntide Regatta has returned to Grenada with full action-packed activities. The festival will culminate this weekend. The Regatta has been staging under the theme- “Raise your sales and relive traditions.”

On Saturday, March 25, 2023: The official launch of the festival was held on March 25 at 11 am. 

On Sunday, May 14, 2023: The THANKSGIVING MASS was the event held on this day at 11 am. The location for the event was PM R.C. Church.

On Sunday, May 21, 2023: The name of the event was CELEBRITY BIKINI CRUISE 5.0. The event was held as follows:

  • All white affair
  • Aboard Ambience
  • Boarding time
  • Petite Martinique 10am
  • Carriacou 12 pm

On Friday, May 26, 2023: The name of the event is GRAND CULTURAL OPENING. The time for the event is 7 pm. The second event was

  • Flambeau night and welcome party and was held at PM Hard Court

On Saturday, May 27, 2023:  The day will feature three events which are as follows:

  • ROUND THE ISLAND BOAT RACE. The timing for the event is 10 am
  • ONSHORE ACTIVITIES. The event will be started at 3 pm
  • LAUVE (SOCA FETE). The time for the event is 10 pm
  • The event will feature several Foreign & local artists. The location for the event is PM Hard Court

On Sunday, May 28, 2023: The day will witness four events which are as follows:

  • RACE 1 (ALL CLASSES). The time for the event is 10 am
  • ONSHORE ACTIVITIES. The event will be started at 11 am
  • RACE 2 (ALL CLASSES). The time for the event is 2 pm
  • SAILORS LET LOOSE (COLOR FETE). The event will be started at 12 am
  • The location for the event is PM Hard Court

On Monday, MAY 29, 2023: The four events are as follows:

  • BREAK DAWN J’OUVERT. The timing for the event is 4 am-10 am
  • ONSHORE ACTIVITIES. The event will be started at 12 pm
  • RACE 3 (ALL CLASSES). The timing for the start of the event is 2 pm
  • CLOSING & PRIZE GIVING CEREMONY. The event will be started at 7 pm

Pure Grenada invited the citizens and added,” It’s not too late to head on over to our sister isle to experience boat racing, cultural performances, fun on-shore activities and much more. Raise your sails and relive traditions.
