Grenada: On the evening of Thursday, 12 May 2022, the Community Nursing Division of the Ministry of Health and Social Security held an appreciation and awards ceremony for community nurses at the famous Pier-57, located at Grand Mal, St. George.
Patrick David, Manager Owner of Island Catering and Pier 57, was the main sponsor of this mega event. His gift to it also included; the exclusive use of the venue (Pier 57), the mouth-watering tasty food, desserts and a live disk jockey, all free of charge.
At the end of the event, the Ministry of Health invited David to the main stage to say thanks and presented him with a small token to show our appreciation.
David said,” however, unaware of our intention, his response was, ”Orrrrr, that’s not necessary. I just wanted to demonstrate my/our appreciation for your services to this nation. You guys worked hard and did an exceptional job”.
David asserted that and so, as a caring Ministry, they felt it was necessary say publicly, “THANK YOU SIR”, for their generosity and kind words. They want the public to know that your contribution towards the just ended awards and appreciation ceremony for the nurses attached to the Community Nursing Division of the Ministry of Health and Social Security meant a whole lot.
Health Ministry expressed once again heartfelt thanks to Mr. Patrick David Manager Owner of Island Catering and Pier 57 for sponsoring this mega event. Thanks to your staff as well.
