Grenada: Due to the Commencement of Refurbishment Work at the Victoria Medical Station, the Ministry of Health has relocated all health care services provided by the Victoria Medical Station, to the nearby Catholic Church Pastoral Centre in Victoria, St. Mark on Monday, May 9, 2022.
The reconstruction period is expected to last at least eight months.
The Ministry is mindful that there may be some unavoidable delays as caregivers and clients make adjustments to the new area.
Residents can also access services at the Union Medical Station and Gouyave Health Centre. The Ministry of Health solicits the cooperation of everyone affected by this move. However, this action is necessary as the Ministry makes every effort to improve its Health Infrastructure.
The Ministry of Agriculture informs the public of the suspension of the sale of plants from all propagation Stations, effective on Monday, 9th May 2022.
This suspension is to facilitate the preparation of new plants for the annual Plant Distribution Season. Farmers are urged, at this time, to start submitting their applications for plants for the 2022 season to the Ministry of Agriculture.
Application forms are available at the District Extension Offices, Extension Officers and from the Ministry of Agriculture’s main office in Tanteen, St. George.
The Ministry apologises for any inconveniences caused and looks forward to serving the general public during the 2022 Plant Distribution Season.
