Grenada: Government revoked quarantine requirement for fully vaccinated travelers

Grenada Government updated the travel safety protocols in the beginning of the travelling season, and vaccination rate is increasing in the country.

The travelers coming to Grenada, Petite Martinique and Carriacou, and are fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccines approved by WHO, are required to carry their negative report of PCR test that is supposed to be taken between 72 hours before travelling. The traveler is not required to undergo the 48-hrs quarantine after arrival in the country.

According to some statements, this is the first update after July 31, when the government declared that all non-nationals should be fully vaccinated to enter Grenada.

The government urged the travelers to adhere to the new updates of travel protocols:

  • The government announced that the people travelling to Grenada would not be required to fill the ‘Pure Safe Travel Authorization Certificate.’
  • Travelers now will not have to fill the health declaration form that could be accessed at https://covid19.gov.gd/
  • Vaccinated visitors will not be tested unless the required order by the Health Officials of the health ministry for screening will be issued, and the fee for testing is also waived.
  • Original vaccination card of the complete vaccination is required as proof from the airlines and airport officials while entering Grenada.
  • The vaccination card should be in English as well as the certificate.
  • Fully vaccinated travelers can now use their personal transportation or can be picked up by a fully vaccinated individual.
