Grenada Football squad to play in Concacaf Nations League fixture against USA

Grenada: The Grenada Football Association (GFA) announced the squad for the Concacaf Nations League fixture against the USA, which will be held on Friday, March 24 (8 pm) at the Kirani James Athletics Stadium.

The team was decided by Coach Anthony ‘Nixon’ Modeste, and it featured nine (9) overseas based players (39%) joining the squad from England and the United States.

Grenada has played three matches in League A, Group D (Grenada, El Salvador, USA) in the Concacaf Nations League which started in 2022, are as follows: 

• June 10-USA 5-0 Grenada- Q 2 Stadium
• June 7-Grenada 2-2 El Salvador- Kirani James Athletics Stadium of Grenada
• June 4-El Salvador 1-3 Grenada- Estadio Custcatlan

Following this match, the focus of the Senior Men’s National team will be on Gold Cup qualification which will be held in June. The country played their first match against the USA in June 2024. They have qualified for the 2006 FIFA World Cup in the preliminary round.
