Grenada announces retail prices of fuel products, diesel, kerosene to cost less

Grenada: The government of Grenada announced the new retail prices of fuel products across the country and the State of Grenada. The updated list of prices will come into effect on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. 

The retail prices of petroleum products such as Gasoline, Diesel, Kerosene and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), commonly known as Cooking Gas, in the State of Grenada will be as follows:

The prices for Grenada are as follows: 

• The retail price of Gasoline witnessed a decline as the old price was $12.74/1G and now stands at $12.62/1G.
• The retail price of Diesel decreases from the old price of $14.57/1G to $14.08/1G.
• The old price of Kerosene was $14.87/1G, and after decreasing, it stood at $14.62/1G.
• The retail price of the 20 lbs Cylinder is $40.00 and has not witnessed any changes.
• The retail price of the 100 lbs Cylinder witnessed a decline as the old price was $305.10 and the new price will be $301.20.
• The retail price of the Bulk will remain the same and stands at $3.10/lb.

The retail price of the fuel products for CARRIACOU is as follows: 

• The retail price of Gasoline witnessed a decline as the old price was $12.92/1G and the new price was $12.80/1G.
• The Diesel price also decreases from $14.75/1G as the new price is $14.26/1G
• The retail price of the Kerosene witnessed a decline as the old price was $15.07/1G, and the new price will be $14.81/1G.

The retail prices of the fuel products for PETIT MARTINIQUE are as follows: 

• The retail price of the Gasoline will be $12.80/1G.
• The retail price of the Diesel will be $14.26/1G.
• The retail price of the Kerosene will be $14.81/1G.

The retail price for CARRIACOU & PETIT MARTINIQUE: 

• The retail price for20 lbs Cylinder is $49.00.
• The retail price for 100 lbs Cylinder is $324.20.
• The retail price for Bulk is $3.10/b

The new Retail Prices are computed based on the average FOB costs: that is: (Ex-refinery prices), for the period, 10, September, 2022, to 11′, October, 2022.

Consumers are strongly encouraged to immediately notify the Price Control/Consumer Affairs Unit in the Ministry of Finance, of any instance of overpricing at telephone number: 440-1369.
