Grenada: Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture of Grenada announced the 27-member team for the 2023 50th CARIFTA games, which will be held in the Bahamas. Having attained the qualification standards, a 27-member team, accompanied by six (6) officials, departed Grenada today to compete at the 50th CARIFTA games.
The games are being held in Nassau, Bahamas, from April 8-10. This year marks the ninth time that the Bahamas will be hosting the event. Established in 1972, CARIFTA games are renowned for showcasing top-tier athletes from the region, many of whom have gone on to shine on the world stage.
This year’s game will feature more than 600 athletes from 28 countries competing.
