Grenada: The government of Grenada issued a notice on the updated price of the fuel products in the country. The price of fuel products has witnessed a huge hike.
The revised prices of the fuel products came into effect on April 18, 2022.
The notice reads, “The general public is hereby informed that effective on Monday, April 18, 2022, the retail prices of petroleum (Gasoline, Diesel, Kerosene and Liquified Petroleum Gas, LPG commonly known as Cooking Gas, in the State of Grenada will be as follows.”

Fuel Products:
Gasoline– The Old Price of the Gasoline was $575.00/G. The new price of the fule product stood at $7500/G.
Diesel- The old price of the Diesel was $55.00/G. On the other hand, the new price stood at $1500/G.
Kerosene- The old price of the Kerosene was $513.77/G and the new price stood at $145/G.
LPG (Cylinder Gas):
- 20 lbd Cylinder– Old price: $40.00
New Price: $43.00
- 100 ibs Cylinder– Old price: $287.95
New price:$299.40
- Bulk– Old Price: $2.95/ib
New Price: $3.10/ib
CARIACOU

Kerosene: Old Price: $14.70/IG

The bulk will cost $2.50/lb instead of $2.45/lb.
The new Retail Prices are computed based on the average FOB costs: that is (Ex-refinery prices) for the period from March 11 2022, to April 23 2022.
Further, Prime Minister Keith Mitchell also visited Barbados to join the other CARICOM heads of the government to discuss various issues related to business and Banking.
