Geoffrey Hanley attends grand return of Agriculture Open Day Fair in St Kitts and Nevis

In the ongoing Agriculture open Day, St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party have also attended and encouraged the farmers about farming.

St Kitts and Nevis: In the ongoing Agriculture open Day, St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party have also attended and encouraged the farmers about farming. 

Deputy Leader and elected Representative for Constituency No. 1, Dr Geoffrey Hanley, represented St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party at the grand return of the Agriculture Open Day Fair, hosted by the Department of Agriculture.

This year’s fair is being held at the Newtown Playfield on Thursday 5th May and Friday 6th May.

Dr Hanley spent his morning visiting all the stalls, talking to the entrepreneurs and vendors, as well as purchasing a few items for himself.

The SKNLP encourages everyone to take time out and make a visit to the fair. It is worth it!

In order to celebrate Agriculture Awareness Month, the Ministry of Agriculture of Nevis Island administration outlined the schedule of a series of activities that will be held in the Month of May 2022. The Month of May is celebrated as Agriculture Awareness Month.

Agriculture Ministry stated, “In light of this, we have put together a calendar of activities promoting the advancement of the agricultural sector. Be sure to attend/participate in some or all of the events as we aim to “Foster Economic Growth Through Innovation”.

Agriculture Awareness Month 2022 will be celebrated under the theme- “fostering economic growth through innovation.”
