Water
Enough quantity of water is to be placed in the emergency kit. This may have the possible quantity of 1 gallon for a person for 3 days.

The phone and the charger is the most required thing to be added in the kit. It will provide help in reaching out to the government body or the people which can give a helping hand.
Medications
The emergency kit should include medicines as the most required element. Contraceptives and the copies of prescriptions are to be in the kit for the first aid purpose.

All the documents, probably the copies of personal documents are to be the part of the kit.
Battery Operations
These flashlights or extra batteries are to be added in the kit. These may be used at times of danger.
Non – Perishable Food
These are the canned or packaged food items such as energy drinks, bars, crackers etcetera.
