CPL 2022: The Caribbean Premier League 2022 is all set to make a grand comeback on the shores of the West Indies. The players are all set to play on the fields of the much-awaited CPL 2022.
CPL 2022 creates great hype among the audience, and they love to see their favourite players on the field while batting or bowling or fielding. All across the globe, the tourists joined the local people to get a sense of the live cricket.
The official matches will be started on September 1, 2022, and end on September 30, 2022. The month-long tournament will feature six teams by the name of the countries of the Caribbean region. The name of the six-team are- Guyana Amazon Warriors, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, Jamaica Tallawahs, Trinbago Knight Riders, Saint Lucia Kings and Barbados Royals.
The tournament will be held at the four fields such as Antigua and Barbuda, St Kitts and Nevis and Saint Lucia. The finals or playoffs will be played in Guyana.
Further, the first match of the CPL 2022 will be held between St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and Jamaica Tallawahs. The match will be played at the field of Warner Park Stadium in Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis. The match will be started at 7:00 pm ECT.
St Kitts and Nevis Patriots lifted the trophy of the Caribbean Premier League T20 series last year for the first time in its history. However, Trinbago Knight Riders are considered the champion of the CPL, by the way.
Jamaica Tallawhas won the Caribbean Premier League in 2016. Now the fans of the patriots have raised their hopes high and wanted the victory of the team, and the same goes for Jamaica Tallawahs.
