New Delhi, India: The third phase of the meeting between protesting farmers and the Indian government agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar and its team remained inconclusive as both the parties failed to arrive at a common point.

Union Agriculture Minister stated that the meeting was good, and we did a healthy talk with the farmers, the next series of talks will be held on December 3.

While 32 unions belong to Punjab, two representative of Haryana, Yogendra Yadav from AIKSCC and another leader from Uttar Pradesh attended the talk.

The farmer’s unions had emphasised that their demand for the repeal of the new form law was ” non – negotiable “.

The farmers had earlier rejected the Centre’s offer on Sunday after the government had stressed on them moving to the Burari ground in New Delhi.

The Centre has suggested the formation of a committee to sort out the differences over farm laws an idea that was turned down by the protesting farmers; sources said as the two sides met in Delhi this afternoon.

The farmers said the protests would continue if their demands are not accepted.
