EXCLUSIVE: Trinidad Fashion Festival set to return in May 2024

Tourism Trinidad launched the "Trinidad Fashion Festival 2024" under the theme- Dis Is We Style on Sunday at Queens Hall, Port of Spain.

Trinidad and Tobago: Tourism Trinidad launched the “Trinidad Fashion Festival 2024″ under the theme- Dis Is We Style on Sunday at Queens Hall, Port of Spain. The festival aims to celebrate the unique style of the local people and also showcase the tourism product offerings of the island.

The festival will be held in May 2024. Tourism Trinidad took to Facebook and shared glimpses of the festival. It expressed pleasure and stated that Tourism Trinidad is thrilled to announce the launch of the Trinidad Fashion Festival 2024 – Dis Is We Style, a vibrant celebration of the distinctive style and creativity flourishing within Trinidad and Tobago’s fashion industry.

The launch held to coincide with the calendar date for next year was also done so people can start creating a ‘Save The Date’ and plan beyond the carnival celebrations. This all fits into our strategic festival plans, which will see persons now having options beyond the Mas for festivals held over several days which include Music, Culinary and, of course, Fashion.

Pierrot Grenades from Necessary Arts School, combined with the energy of Xavier Strings, was a match made in heaven. Bringing theatre to life and, of course, the outfits. Thanks to The Cloth for outfitting them for the night, and the country had a chance to catch up with some wonderful people at Trinidad Fashion Festival 2024.

Tourism Trinidad also extended support to the NGC Bocas Lit Fest’s 4th annual ole mas competition at NALIS in Port of Spain. Visit Trinidad goodies were distributed to the winners of the ole mas as well as their special edition “Dis is we Mas” of Trinidad Fashion Festival 2024 T-Shirts that were included in their festival writer bags and distributed to all writers (local and visiting) participating in the festival.

NGC Bocas Lit Fest is the largest and most prestigious annual literary festival in the Caribbean, drawing internationally renowned writers from the Caribbean, the Diaspora and beyond and has been listed in the world’s top 20 literary festivals by Penguin Random House, the largest fiction publishing house.
