EXCLUSIVE: Teams squad for Windwards Super 50 announced

Caribbean: The squad of the four teams of the “Windwards Super 50” cricket tournament has been announced. The tournament will begin today where Dominica, Saint Lucia, Grenada and St Vincent and the Grenadines will compete with each other.

The matches will be played at Sion Hill and Cumberland, bowling off from 9:30 am. The tournament will run until October 1, 2023.

Today’s Matches

St Vincent is all set to host two matches of the tournament today. The first match will be held at Sion Hill and the second one will be held at Cumberland. These matches will take place under the round-robin format.

The first match will be held between Dominica and St Vincent and the Grenadines while the second match will be held between Saint Lucia and Grenada.

The matches will be live-streamed on ITFX.

Windwards Island Super 50 Tournament

The Windwards Island Super 50 Tournament is one part of the qualification of the one-day team. The team also consisted of the players from the “Best vs Best” mini-series. These tournaments combinedly create a one-day team to compete in the Cricket West Indies CG United Super 50 Cup.

The CG United Super 50 Cup will be played in Trinidad and Tobago from October 17 to November 11, 2023. The eighteen teams will participate in the cup, which are:
