We are committed to a meritorious, modern, effective State. Today I met with the Chairman of the Audit Conference Sharma, on the occasion of the Court’s report on the effectiveness of the State.

It is a common finding that the ineffectiveness of the State is due to both the inadequacy of the Administration and also to phenomena of widespread corruption.

Inadequacy and corruption are two of the key characteristics of ND governance. That’s why it has been devalued for four years every public, while at the same time middle and blue golden boys enjoy direct deposits of billions and provocative bonuses of millions. And that is a great challenge.

The citizen needs a State which will be meritorious, economically sustainable, efficient, safe and democratic. Not a client state, undeserving, insecure, not a State – a loot in the hands of party armies.

And this is our commitment: To make a meritorious, modern, effective and democratic State next to the citizen. And we will put this commitment into practice.

Regional and island areas should be in the focus of European transport policies and supported with new European tools.” She address at a special meeting of the #TRAN Committee on green and digital transport in a time of energy challenges.

She also participated in today’s meeting of Greek MEPs with representatives of the Pontian Hellenic World Council and the Panhellenic Union of Assyrians, where we discussed promoting their righteous demands in the European Parliament.

“As far as it is. Privatization of water will not be accepted.

The strategy of the Mr. Mitsotakis in everything is the one of covering up and hypocrisy against truth and justice that is today a requirement of Greek society,” Elena Kountoura added.
