Castries, Saint Lucia: Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia- Ernest Hilaire attended the launch ceremony of the Youth Economy Agency at the finance administrative centre on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
Ernest Hilaire took to social media and shared glimpses of the launch ceremony. In a recent post, the Prime Minister of Saint Lucia- Philip J Pierre and other cabinet ministers were seen delivering the keynote address and interacting with the young generation of the country.
Deputy PM Ernest Hilaire cited, “The launch of the Youth Economy Agency at the Finance Administrative Center.” The agency is aimed to provide the perfect opportunity for the young generation of Saint Lucia to pursue their career in different fields.
Young entrepreneurs who want to enhance their startups across the globe will get the chance through the youth economy agency. It will help them to fulfil their entrepreneurial goals and enhance the local product offerings of Saint Lucia worldwide.
He asserted that through this initiative, the government of Saint Lucia will extend their full support to these young businesspeople who want to flourish their startups and turn their hobbies into economic activities.
The government of Saint Lucia will provide every possible financial, social and political assistance to these young people so that their carrier can be enhanced. Ernest Hilaire noted, “This initiative carves out a dedicated space for your young entrepreneurs across our 238 sq. miles to turn their hobbies into economic activities.”
He added that the development of youth will automatically develop the nation, and with their local businesses, the local product offerings of the country will also uplift. Deputy PM asserted, “We are committed to the development of our young people as they are the future but they are also the now. We must nurture them and help them grow.”
