For way too long, the people of Roseau North have made wrong choices, and we have heard excuses from the parliament representatives of the past. Now, people have the opportunity to vote for Miriam Blanchard and support progress and prosperity, “said the prime minister.

He further talked about the various challenges faced by the constituency, stated that their big challenge is housing, and he has a full-proved plan for various communities.

PM Roosevelt Skerrit added that no one could beat Dominica Labour Party when it comes to housing as they provided the finest quality of resilient homes which can withstand any natural calamities. He also condemned the former parliament representative of Roseau North for not representing the people well.

He further mentioned, “They would talk about all kinds of things but never about the people whom they were representing. This is not about Labour or UWP, but this is about the welfare of the people, families, and what you desire for yourself, your country and for your communities,” he added.

PM Roosevelt Skerrit added that DLP will always work for the welfare of the country.

He also added that Dominica Labour Party never boycotted any general elections when they were not in power. He stated that around 45 candidates have been nominated for the snap general elections of 2022 and which is the highest over a decade. The country never witnessed such as big, neither in 2014 nor in 2019. Dominica always witnessed free and fair elections, and every person has the right to cast a vote.
