The Ministry of Tourism International Transport and Maritime Initiatives has announced an updated list of measures for COVID-19 pre-arrivals entry protocols for travellers of the US-origin to Dominica with an immediate effect.

In addition to the already imposed pre-arrival safety protocols for Dominica, all completely vaccinated travellers from the US can now upload a pre-arrival negative Rapid Antigen Test report from the swab taken 48 hours before the expected arrival time into the island, which should be not less than 24 hours. The test report of the Rapid Antigen Test must be from a verified or certified facility. At the same time, no Rapid Antigen Home-done tests or self-administered test results will not be accepted.

Notably, the government authorities have also awared travellers that the current pre-arrival entry protocols for the travellers who have yet to receive their vaccination dose will remain the same.

At the same time, the Ministry of Tourism and the Dominica Air and Sea Ports Authorities have made an announcement about the opening of the Executive Lounge at the Douglas-Charles Airport, and all the travellers can board their flight with comfort and enjoy the additional benefits that come with it.

The lounge opens daily from 6:00 am-8:00 pm. The services that are provided to every traveller at the Executive Lounge are Lounge seating, additional Wi-Fi, newspapers/magazines, tourism information and bookings, complimentary snacks, private restrooms, baggage assistance, taxi arrangements.
