Roseau, Dominica: Ministry of Tourism, International Transport and Maritime Initiatives of the Commonwealth of Dominica shared an update on their meetings in Ans De Mai and Wood Ford Hill.
The Tourism Ministry stated that the meetings were held to promote their newly launched Small Business One Stop Shop team. They promoted the local business and outlined different ways to strengthen these businesses in the meeting.
The Ministry also extended gratitude to the Paix Bouche and Wesley Constituency after receiving a grand welcome by the community. They mentioned, “Today, the Small Business One Stop Shop team held two very productive meetings in Ans De Mai and Wood Ford Hill! Special Thanks to the Paix Bouche and Wesley Constituency for Welcoming Us. Now let’s work together to transform your Small Businesses.”
The Ministry of Tourism of Dominica successfully launched “Small Business One Stop Shop” on August 13, 2022, where they outlined the ways o thrive MSME sector and create avenues for business.
In the launch ceremony, they also presented Training Certificates to recipients from Cohorts 2 to 5 under the Small Business Support Unit. They also remarked it as a milestone day.
120 Small Business beneficiaries in Dominica have undergone critical prerequisites for receiving grant funding. Equipping them with training in; Business Planning and Legalities, Customer Service, Marketing, Sales and Negotiations, Financial Management, and more.
They recognize the importance of a thriving MSME sector in Dominica; therefore, they will continue to create avenues for businesses to strive!
