Roseau, Dominica: The Meteorological Department of the Commonwealth of Dominica has given a weather update for two days, such as Friday, April 29, 2022, and Saturday, April 30, 2022. As per the predictions, some weak and unstable conditions are expected could affect the island.
There are also chances of a gradual increase in moisture levels across the island could result in cloudy to overcast skies with possible periods of rain, moderate to heavy showers, and isolated thunderstorm activity. Meanwhile, a trough system is expected to continue to affect the southern portion of the island chain resulting in increased cloudiness with shower and thunderstorm activity.
This weather pattern is expected to continue moving northward across Dominica from April 29 to April 30, 2022. A flood watch may become necessary from this evening.
The department has also advised the residents to be on alert and continue to abide by the weather updates.
