Roseau, Dominica: The Commonwealth of Dominica is all set to stage the Junior Calypso-Bouyon Monarch on February 3, 2023, as part of the Dominik Carnival- Real Mas 2023. The Competition will be hosted by the Leo Club Dominica for the first time.

The event will be held at Carnival City and under the theme- “The Stage is waiting for you”. The aim of the competition is to encourage the youth to showcase their talent and skills and win the title of Junior Calypso-Bouyon Monarch.

The competition will provide a platform for the young talent of the Commonwealth of Dominica. It will also boost their confidence to perform on the stage and encourage them to show their hidden talents and skills.

Dominica Festivals asked the young people to come out of their homes and use the platform to perform efficiently. It also stated that people could contact 6140797 or 6131350 to register for the competition. It is time to celebrate the skills and talents of the youth as they will compete for the title of Junior Calypso-Bouyon Monarch 2023.

Dominica will host the Carnival in January 2023 and will feature different events such as Calypso Monarch, Kiddies Carnival, and many more. The Carnival will create a festival and exciting vibe across the country. It will attract tourists across the globe and boost the tourism industry of the country.

Dominica always hosts such events to celebrate and promote their culture and stage different events to boost the cultural vibes among the countrymen and foreigners. Along with that, the event will boost confidence and polish skills in different fields.

Earlier, on the special occasion of Christmas, Dominica hosted unique and different cultural events such as Christmas carols, Village events, Christmas Parties and many more in the constituencies of the country.

The Parliamentary Representatives of different constituencies hosted the Christmas party to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Leaders of Dominica such as Melissa Skerrit, Denise Charles, Roland Royer, Fanella Weham, and Cassanni Laville invited the citizens especially children to attend the Christmas parties and celebrate the holiday season.
