Slough Dominican Association is the non profit organization which was established after the destruction caused in Dominica by Hurricane Maria. This association raises funds for the development of the island.
Every year, the events are organized by the respective association from which the first was held in 2017. This event was attended by more than 200 people.
Notably, the dance and dinner event of 2019 was held in collaboration with local Caribbean groups for Windrush Generation (people who arrived in England between 1948 and 1972).
Another collaboration was done in 2020 with help for Dominica aimed at providing medical and school supplies to Dominica.
Considerably, 10 required wheelchairs were also provided by the association.
This year, the event will be held on October 21 whose tickets are available on the official website of The Slough Dominican Association.
