Roseau, Dominica: The national men’s football team of Dominica is gearing up for it first match of the CONCACAF Nations League. The match will be held on Tuesday (September 12, 2023) against the Turks and Caicos Islands.
Dominica Football Association announced the squad for the tournament. The squad will consist of national and overseas based players. Four overseas players will compete in the first match of the CONCACAF Nations League 2023.
CONCACAF Nations League kickstarted on Friday (September 7, 2023) with the exciting matches of the leagues. The tournament is divided into leagues (League A, B and C). The league further divided into the groups and the winners of the leagues will pave their way to the FIFA Gold Cup.
Dominica has placed under League C and Group C. The match between Dominica and Turks and Caicos Islands will be held in TCIFA National Stadium, Providenciales. The match will be held at 4 pm. The guys got some final instructions at the Stockfarm Training Center before they head off tomorrow to Turks and Caicos, for Dominica’s first match in the Concacaf Nations League.

National and overseas based striker Julian Wade is ready to represent Dominica once again in the Concacaf Nations League.
The striker and Dominica’s leading goal scorer who plays for Formatine FC in the Scottish HighLand League is among the squad set to travel on Saturday for Dominica’s first match in the Concacaf Nations League against the Turks and Caicos on Tuesday.
Troy Jules is one of the new faces on the Senior Men’s National Football Team. Troy is an overseas based player who recently signed up to play in the Jamaica Premier league.
Troy is looking forward to getting some goals as Dominica opens up its campaign in the Concacaf Nations League next week.
The team was trained by Goal keeper coach Melvin Angol who is one of the best goal keepers Dominica has ever produced has taken over the goal keeping duties from Courtney Challenger who has since retired from national duties.
Angol has been working with the young keepers on the national squad.
