Dominica stages matches for Zonal stages of National Bank Football competition

Roseau, Dominica: The Zonal stages of the National Bank of Dominica Ltd Sports Division Primary Schools boys Division One football competition concluded on Thursday, 2nd February 2023, with matches in Three Zones.

At Castle Bruce five Schools participated in the South-East Zone the Castle Bruce Primary School topped the zone with 10 points, Sineku Primary came second with 9 points; Jones Beaupiere Primary 3rd on 7 points, San Sauveur Primary 4th with 3 points and Grand Fond Primary 5th on 0 points.

In the East Zone played in Londonderry the WS Steven’s Primary School topped the standings amongst the four schools with 5 points 1 win and 2 draws. Calibishie Primary came second due to a better goal difference over 3rd place Woodford Hill Primary School as both Schools ended with 4 points each. The Atkinson Primary school came in 4th place.

In the South/ Southwest Zone the St. Luke’s Primary School dominated with 4 wins from their 4 matches played with 12 points. Carlique Prevost score 8 goals and Zael Joseph 12 goals for St. Lukes Primary in their 4 matches played. Bellevue Primary school came 2nd due to a better goal difference over 3rd place Grandbay Primary School, both team copped 7 points each. Soufriere Primary came in 4th place with 3 points and the Newtown Primary School 5 on 0 points.

Sports Division of Dominica shared the results Of Matches Played Today In The Sports Division Secondary Schools Volleyball Championship.

Two volleyball matches were played at the DSC grounds:

• 3 – 0

• Two Matches Were Played at Portsmouth:
• Game 1 North East Comprehensive School vs Portsmouth Secondary School (girls)
