Dominica: Small Business Support Unit visits Penville to continue community outreach drive
Roseau, Dominica: The Ministry of Tourism, International Transport, and Maritime Initiatives of the Commonwealth of Dominica, under their Small Business Support Unit, visited Penville. On August 26, 2022, while continuing their community outreach drive, the ministry engaged with the people of the area.
It is said to be home to some of the major tourist sites, which include Cold Soufriere and Bwa Neff Falls. Various officials such as Parliamentary Representative from Penville and Prime Minister of Dominica- Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, Tourism Minister Denise Charles and PS Lisa Valmond.
Ministry of Tourism stated, “Yesterday the Small Business Support Unit visited Penville, home to some of our major tourist sites such as Cold Soufriere and Bwa Neff Falls, with the Parliamentary Representative and Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, Tourism Minister Denise Charles and PS Lisa Valmond for yet another Community Outreach Drive.”
The Team engaged, educated, and informed the people on the Small Business One Stop Shop! Today at 4 pm, look out for them in Portsmouth! Small Business One Stop Shop Community Outreach Continues across the country.
Through his social media, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit stated that he visited Penville with the Tourism Minister Denise Charles, PS Lisa Valmond for Community Outreach Drive. The Team informed the people about the Small Business One Stop Shop.
The Ministry of Tourism launched the Small Business One Stop Shop to thrive MSME sector in Dominica; therefore, they will continue to create avenues for businesses to strive.
Small Business One Stop Shop is for all your business needs. One convenient location to turn what starts as an idea into a successful striving business. Small businesses are encouraged to take advantage of this new initiative created just for them! Together they will continue to build successful businesses on the nature island, #Dominica.
The Team of Small Business Unit team has gone on two community outreach drives in Laplaine and Newtown after a week of its launch. Through these drives, we were able to engage with various small business owners by informing them about our plans, services provided by One Stop Shop, listening to their needs & concerns, and reaffirming our commitment and willingness to help them to grow their businesses!
