The Commonwealth of Dominica records a new active COVID-19 case taking the total number of the active cases of the coronavirus to three, as per the report by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and New Health Investment of Dominica.

Dominica: The Commonwealth of Dominica records a new active COVID-19 case taking the total number of the active cases of the coronavirus to three, as per the report by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and New Health Investment of Dominica.

The report further states that a total of 189 patients have been recovered from the deadly mutant, and since the pandemic started, the island has reported 192 cases in total.

The island has not reported a single death till now, and no contacts are under investigation.

Thirty-six people are in GOCD quarantine while a total of 980 contacts have been cleared, around 980 contacts have been identified.

So far, till 22 June 2021, a total of 18,388 individuals have been tested for the novel coronavirus, out of which around 18,196 individuals tested negative for the deadly virus.

As per the report by the health ministry of the island, a total of 20,237 individuals have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while a total of 18,288 individuals have received their second jab of the novel coronavirus and are now fully vaccinated against the pandemic.

According to the statistics, worldwide, there are a total of 179,674,241 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus, whereas around 164,359,983 individuals have been recovered from the deadly virus.

A total of 3,891,013 individuals have died across the globe because of the COVID-19 dangerous mutant.
