Roseau, Dominica: Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, toured the Flower Show site in Giraudel on Thursday, April 21, 2022. PM Skerrit visited the site to overview the preparation being conducted due to the return of the flower show in October 2022.
While expressing pleasure after visiting the site, PM Skerrit noted, “Today I and Parliamentary Representative for Roseau South, Hon. Chekira Lockhart Hypolite toured the Flower Show site in Giraudel on Thursday. The Flower Show returns in October 2022, and preparations are already underway.”
Further, he was accompanied by Parliamentary Representative for Roseau South Chekira Lockhart Hypolite during his visit to the constituency.

In addition to that, Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit also assured that the government of Dominica would always support the upliftment of the site. The government is working to not only make the Flower Show a success, but he wanted to develop the site to create year-round economic activity.
The Girauduel-Eggleston Annual Flower show is much awaited and very popular show in the constituency. It is returning with a gap of five years, and lastly, it was held in 2016.
“Prime Minister Skerrit has pledged Government’s support in not only making the Flower Show a success but in also developing the site to create year-round economic activity,” it stated.
