Roseau, Dominica: Prime Minister of Dominica- Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, met with the Governor of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank- Timothy N. J. Antoine on Tuesday. The meeting featured a discussion on the performance of the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU).
PM Roosevelt Skerrit took to Facebook and shared glimpses of the meeting. The Governor of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank also met with the Cabinet and shared information on the performance and prospects of ECCU.
PM Skerrit added, “Governor of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank, Timothy N. J. Antoine, meets with the Cabinet to share information on the performance and prospects of the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU) and the Commonwealth of Dominica.”
The Representatives of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank have started their 2023 Country Outreach Mission. Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit stated that the representatives of the Bank are in Dominica from May 8 to May 11, 2023.
“Representatives of the Bank are in Dominica from May 8-11 as part of its 2023 Country Outreach Mission,” said the prime minister. The meeting featured several matters of concern related to the financial strength of Dominica.
Governor of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB), Timothy N.J. Antoine kicked off his Country Outreach Mission on Monday (February 27), 2023. High Commission of Dominica, London, also shared glimpses of the meeting with the bank representatives.
The citizens of Dominica lauded Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit for his meeting with Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB). One of the citizens named, Irvinia Hill stated, “Awesome. Things are happening, Dominican. The Visionary Leader Thanks, PM. God bless you and your family, Guidance.”
Francis Benjamin, one of the Facebook users, asserted, “This is representation look at the calibre of the man who represents me and my country.” Peter Dover said, “Dominica is moving forward.”
Recently, PM Roosevelt Skerrit also held a meeting with the principals of the secondary schools to reform the educational system for the best.
