While remaining close to nature, PM Roosevelt Skerrit said that everyone should engage in physical activity to stay fit and healthy. He said that physical activities help in the overall improvement and well-being of human health. It makes people strong and able to fight against any disease.

He said, “I continue to urge you to engage in physical activity to stay fit and healthy, improve overall well-being and fight chronic non-communicable diseases.” Dominica’s Fresh Largest Lake is situated with the Morne Trois Piton National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage.

Titou Gorge is nestled in the heights of the Morne Trois Piton National Park. The undulating sides of this deep, narrow gorge were formed as molten lava cooled and split apart. Anyone can take a swim up through the crystal-clear waters to a small waterfall fed by the Freshwater Lake. The more daring can jump down into the chilly waters of the gorge.

Dominica is also known as the Nature Isle of the Caribbean with its magnificent beauty, the world’s second-largest boiling lake and more than 365 rivers. Dominica is more than just an island as people can experience the numerous black sand beaches of Dominica that glitter beneath the sun. Visitors can step past the coconut-lined short into the crystal-cool Caribbean Sea at one of the most beautiful beaches.

From Hideaways of Tibay Heights eco-cottages, anyone can experience the stunning golden hour view of Dominica’s iconic Cabrits National Park in the north. DOMINICA is the eco and GREEN island of the Caribbean– incredible hot springs and lush rainforests. If there is any Island we would spend more time at, it would definitely be Dominica.

People spent the day hiking to Boiling lake, which is in fact boiling— a giant chaldron. It was a crazy adventure through Morne Trois Pitons National park. Along the way are gorgeous hot springs. And yes, for the record, the sulphur face masks do, in-fact make your skin super soft.

The hike starts and ends at Titu Gorge, where you can swim through a cave with the most glorious light streaming through which ends in a cave. In total It’s at least an 8mi/13km challenging hike out and back (don’t pay attention to All Trails which claims it’s 6mi).
