Phyllisia Ross, Black Violin, Shelly Alfred of the Signal Band and Octeto Kanaima, Kingshill Savannah with live entertainment by DJ MJ, Unstoppable Shax, DJ Snow, and DJ Epic have reached Dominica to grace the stage of Jazz ‘n Creole Festival on April 30, 2023.

Roseau, Dominica: Phyllisia Ross, Black Violin, Shelly Alfred of the Signal Band and Octeto Kanaima, Kingshill Savannah with live entertainment by DJ MJ, Unstoppable Shax, DJ Snow, and DJ Epic have reached Dominica to grace the stage of Jazz ‘n Creole Festival on April 30, 2023.

The festival is full of Jazz and Creole culture which features food, cuisine, music, fashion and so much more. The event is a remarkable part of the Dominica culture which vibrantly showcase the values, customs, and traditions of the Nature Isle of the Caribbean.

The performers will engage the audience with the musical heritage of the country where they will find the authentic experience of celebrating togetherness and happiness.

Dominica Festivals took to Facebook and invited people to enjoy the scenic views of the country with the graceful events of the festivals such as Kids Zone, Jazz’n Cars, and many others.

The event is staged at Portsmouth which is known as the Home of Dominica’s Jazz’n Creole and people can get the tickets at 150XCD. The gate price for the event is 175XCD. The location for the hosting of the festival is, Cabrits National Park and the Dress theme is Rainforest Fantasy.

Further, Phyllisia Ross took to Facebook and shared glimpses of her arrival in Dominica. She said,” We can’t WAIT to perform for you for my first time at the Jazz & Kreyol festival Sunday, April 30 in Portsmouth, Dominica.”

The audience will also brim with the music of the Black Violin which is the signature music event at the Cabrits. He will outline the customs of the country in his own style. People also witnessed the energy flowing with Jazz by the River, an official season fringe event by Rosalie Bay Eco-Resort. Now, the audience will into the groove for the main stage with local artists and DJs at one of Dominica’s most beautiful resorts on the east coast.

The artists such as Shelly Alfred of the Signal Band, the stunning Phylssia Ross, and hip-hop violin duo Black Violin have touched down in the Nature Isle- Dominica.

Dominica hosts several fringe events before Creole Day. Firstly, Mwen An Sa- In Day kicks off the weekend with Jazz by the Shoreline- La Vie en Kweyol. It featured the princess of Song Michele Henderson and her band and people enjoy the sweet rhythms of Creole and jazz fusion at the fort young hotel. The INDAT initiative has invited the public in ties, dresses, t-shirts, pins, and more.

Along with that, Jazz and Creole Festival also feature Jazz and Fish night presented by Time Out Café on April 28, 2023. The local artists such as Unstoppable DJs and DJ Melbom gave classic performances in the event.

Besides this, the Kid’s Zone was also back for the festival where all children ages 12 and under have enjoyed different activities and treats during the following signature events.

Moreover, there was also a fringe event for car lovers named as Jazz’n Cars Carshow 2023. The event was held on April 29, 2023 where Kingshill Savannah with live entertainment by DJ MJ, Unstoppable Shax, DJ Snow, and DJ Epic have performed.
