Dominica: Ministry of Public Works shares update on closure of Layou Park Valley Road

The government of the Commonwealth of Dominica shared an update on the closure of the road dubbed Layou Park Valley Road. The road is situated between Hillsborough and York Valley Bridge.

Roseau, Dominica: The government of the Commonwealth of Dominica shared an update on the closure of the road dubbed Layou Park Valley Road. The road is situated between Hillsborough and York Valley Bridge. 

Here is the announcement of the Road Closure; the name of the road is Layou Park Valley Road, situated between Hillsborough Bridge and York Valley Bridge. 

The Ministry of Public Works and the Digital Economy would like to inform the general public, especially motorists traversing the Layou Park Valley Road between Hillsborough Bridge and York Valley Bridge, that the road will be temporarily closed to traffic from 7: 00 am to 5: 00 pm, commencing Monday 29 August to Saturday 17 September 2022. 

Local Traffic access will be limited to residents and property owners of the area; however, subject to delays. 

Motorists are asked to pay attention to placed signs and flag personnel on duty. 

The Ministry of Public affairs stated, “We apologize for any inconvenience caused and solicit your full cooperation.”
