Dominica: Mighty Avengers defeats Wooty Blazers in DFA Senior Women league

Mighty Avengers secured victory against Wooty Blazers in the women’s league football championship on Sunday. The match was held at Benjamin Park, Portsmouth at 4: 00 pm.

Roseau, Dominica: Mighty Avengers secured victory against Wooty Blazers in the women’s league football championship on Sunday. The match was held at Benjamin Park, Portsmouth at 4: 00 pm.

Dominica Football Association announced the results of the matches in Senior Women league. Mighty Avengers defeated Wooty Blazers by one run as they scored two runs, while the latter one scored one run.

Dominica Football Association said,” Result of matches in the DFA Senior Women league played on Sunday. Do it center Mighty Avengers defeated Wooty Blazers at the Benjamin Park.”

Niah Detouche scored for Mighty Avengers, with the other goal coming from an own goal. Nadelle Toussaint converted for Wooty Blazers.

Earlier, Belfasy Estate Mahaut Soca Strikers won the match against Bombers FC with the score of 3- 2 on Saturday, May 27, 2023. The match was held at Portsmouth at 4: 00 pm. Along with that, Middleham United FC lost the match with 0- 1 score against All Saints FC on Saturday. The match was held at Dublanc at 4: 00 pm.

Earlier, the result of matches in the DFA Division one league on Saturday. Bombers defeated Calibishie Diaspora 6-1 at the Benjamin Park. Gabriel Raymond registered a hat-trick for Bombers, with Darvone George getting a brace. Jedyan Lockhart scored one. Marius Cyrille got the lone goal for Calibishie Diaspora.

In the other match at the Dublanc playing field, Tranquility Beach Middleham United defeated ACS Maribel Tarish United 6-0. Josimar Gustave and Malachi Bonney scored a brace each for Middleham, with Garrincha Gustave and Denzel Bedminster getting one each.

The result of matches of DFA Division one league played on Friday. Blue Waters Bath Estate defeated Kensbro United 3-1 at the Benjamin Park. Omari Talbert, Jayden George and Chance Marshall scored for Bath Estate. Iverson Jean Luvin scored for Kensbro.

In the other match at the Dublanc playing field. Do it center Mighty Avengers and Belfast Estate Mahaut Soca Strikers played to a 1-all draw. Brendon Weeks scored for Mighty Avengers, with Yan Boston converting for Soca Strikers.
