Roseau, Dominica: Melissa Poponne Skerrit- parliamentary representative for Roseau Central Constituency, shared glimpses of another Creole Friday.
She further appreciated the citizens of Dominica for showing their huge talents and skills in the Friday wear. Melissa Skerrit also urged people to stay tuned for the Creole Friday.

Recently, Dominica also celebrated the Creole Chit Chat last Saturday night. Melissa Skerrit also shared glimpses of the Chit Chat and appreciated the support from the people.
“Thank you to everyone who came to my Creole Chit Chat on Saturday night. It was a great night all around, and I truly appreciate all of the support. Thank you to the staff, DJ, caterers and all who helped to put this together; as always it takes a team effort, “Melissa Skerrit added.
She looks forward to seeing many more of you out and about, especially in your creole wear as the season progresses. As always, please party responsibly and enjoy the Creole season’s celebrations.
Earlier last Friday, Melissa Skerrit also appreciated the people for their creativity last Friday.
She wrote, “As always, my Dominican people never disappoint! Such beautiful colours and creations in the city today! Lovely ladies and dapper gentlemen. As we have been doing so far, every Friday for the month of October, my team will be out and about, so look out for them as well as for a potential surprise in the works when you see them.”
October is the creole season, leading up to Independence day on November 3. The country has been looking forward to the colorful Fridays where Dominicans around the world represent their culture in madras, lace, and floral patterns.
