Roseau, Dominica: Melissa Poponne Skerrit- Parliamentary Representative for Roseau Central Constituency, hosted the Roseau Central Summer Safari Adventure for children. The event was held from July 11, 2022, to July 29, 2022, and it was full of something adventure learning.
She expressed immense joy in hosting the event as Melissa Skerrit interacted with the children and was involved in numerous fun activities. She stated that the journey of three weeks remained quite exhilarating as children indulged in several types of activities which were based on fun as well as skills.
The Safari adventure always starts in the morning around 9:00 am and last at 12: 00 pm. The event was held in Windsor Park Stadium. While featuring numerous events, the summer safari adventure was full of dance, art and craft, creative writing and experience of the vibrant vibes of the summer season.
Melissa Poponne Skerrit, through her social media, stated that the Roseau Central Summer Safari Adventure Summer School proved to be quite an exhilarating journey.
While launching the event, Melissa Skerrit invited the children and their parents to get exposed to unique educational and several giggling activities.
She expressed that in three full weeks of the safari adventure, children of her constituency witnessed self-expression through art, dance and creative writing. Melissa Skerrit added, “The children were immersed in three packed weeks of self-expression through art, dance and creative writing.”
Further, she stated that being around children is a great pleasure in life, and she went through it. Melissa Skerrit also shared a glimpse of when she was around children and enjoyed with them. She said, “It was my pleasure to be part of such an amazing learning experience.”
The event witnessed huge fun activities, which were like storytelling, drama, fun games, animal face painting, movies, music and dance. During the three weeks, the safari adventure also hosted Fun Fridays, which include Treasure Hunt, Water Fun Day, Baking, Truck building, Kite Making and many more.
