Dominica logs 38 new COVID-19 cases, 85 recoveries

The report of coronavirus of the Ministry of Health, Wellness and New Health Investment has recently updated that cases of the COVID-19 pandemic have witnessed a decline from the previous day.

A total of 38 people were exposed to the viral infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2 in the Commonwealth of Dominica on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. The report of coronavirus of the Ministry of Health, Wellness and New Health Investment has recently updated that cases of the COVID-19 pandemic have witnessed a decline from the previous day.

The toll of the confirmed cases on February 21, 2022, was stood at 65.

As per the report of the health ministry of Dominica, the active cases of the novel coronavirus has reached 379, and the active cases on the previous day stood at 426.

Moreover, since the pandemic has emerged, a total of 57 people have succumbed to the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus.

As per the statistics of the recovered cases, a total of 10555 people have been recovered from the viral infection of the novel coronavirus since the pandemic has emerged in the country.

On Tuesday, February 22, 2022, a total of 85 people were discharged from the hospital facilities after getting recovered from the COVID-19 viral infection within the last 24 hours in Dominica.

Since the pandemic has emerged in the country, a total of 10991 people have been exposed to the viral infection of the COVID-19 pandemic in Dominica.

On the other hand, a total of 16,5338 samples have been processed against the COVID-19 pandemic. Out of the total test, a total of 34810 samples have been processed with the testing method called PCR against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The remaining 130528 samples have been processed with the testing method called rapid Antigen in Dominica.

As per the status of the vaccination, since the vaccination drive has started in the country, a total of 32102 people have received the first dose of the vaccine against the COVID-19 pandemic and are partially vaccinated.

On the other hand, a total of 29508 people have been vaccinated with the two doses against the viral infection of the novel coronavirus in Dominica.
