Roseau, Dominica: Ministry of Health, Wellness and New Health Investment of the Commonwealth of Dominica has updated its Coronavirus report. On Wednesday, April 27, 2022, a total of 20 new cases of the COVID-19 pandemic were reported in the country.

Out of the total cases reported in the 24 hours, the test named Antigen has been used to process the samples, on the other hand, zero samples were processed by the PCR COVID-19 test.

As per the reports of the Health Ministry, the number of patients who have been discharged after getting recovered from the COVID-19 pandemic stood at 17. On the other hand, the toll of active cases of the novel coronavirus reached 63 on the small island.

The number of people who have lost their lives due to the novel coronavirus has reached 63 since the pandemic has emerged in Dominica, as reported by the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

On the other hand, a total of 12017 people have been recovered from the deadly SARS-CoV-2 since the pandemic has outbreak in the country. In addition to that, the toll of the total confirmed cases of the COVID-19 stood at 121143 on Nature Island.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health, Wellness, and New Health Investment have processed a total of 19,0793 since its emergence. Out of the total tests, a total of 37283 samples have been processed by the PCR testing facility for COVID-19.

On the other hand, a total of 153,510 samples have been processed by the Antigen testing facility during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As per the Health Ministry, the number of people with the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine stood at 32, 598, on the other hand, a total of 30,190 people are vaccinated with the second dose of the vaccine in Dominica.
