Results From Today’s Independence Athletics preliminaries for the West Central zone. Seven schools participated in the West Central Independence Athletics Preliminaries at Dublanc on Wednesday 12th October. Members of the St.Joseph parish team are gathered for a meeting at the Coulibistrie Primary School.
The Parish Cricket Festival will run from October 20 to November 6
The Secondary Schools Football championship starts tomorrow with three matches in the Under 17 division.
At Newtown : St Mary’s Academy vs Castle Bruce Secondary
At Stock Farm : Dominica Grammar School vs Goodwill Secondary
At Portsmouth : Isaiah Thomas Secondary vs Portsmouth Secondary.
This year’s championships comprise three age categories, Under 15, Under 17 and Under 20. Prior to the start of the opening matches, all participating schools will be presented with footballs by the Sports Division.
