Roseau, Dominica: Dominica is all set to host the 12th edition of Jazz and Creole, featuring jazz music, with renditions of local and West Indian music on April 30, 2023, at Fort Shirley, Cabrits National Park. The event will be held at Portsmouth- “The home of Dominica’s Jazz n Creole.”
Dominica Festivals took to Facebook and stated, ”Welcome to Portsmouth- the home of Jazz n Creole. This scenic community features Fort Shirley of the Cabrits National Park. “ It’s the 12th edition of this signature Sunday event, featuring jazz renditions of local and West Indian music with local cuisine, crafts, fashion, and more.
This year, there is also the return of the kids zone and chill zone. And be sure to get ready for the runway segment as the fashion show is back to wow again. Inspiration is here! This year’s edition of Jazz and Creole is back, featuring jazz music, with renditions of local and West Indian music.
The dress code for the Jazz and Creole Festival is Rainforest Fantasy which is known as Shades of green, pops of colour, flora and fauna, and animal print with creative imagination.
Dominica Festivals added, ”Bring out your creativity with shades of green, pops of colour, and floral and animal prints. Design, style, and dress your best for a chance to be our best-dressed lady and gentleman for Jazz ‘n Creole 2023.”

The Jazz and Creole Festival is all set to announce the artist line up on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at 7 pm. The official launch ceremony will be taken place Ka tai Restaurant. Dominica Festivals added, ”It’s Dominica’s Jazz n Creole 2023! Get ready for the official launch, this Tuesday 21 March 2023 at Ka-Tai Restaurant from 7 PM.”
Jazz n Creole Early Bird tickets go on sale from Tuesday 21 March from 7:30 PM and at $125 EC.
