The celebration of the Independence Day of the Commonwealth of Dominica has begun across the nation. The official launch of the celebration took place on September 24, 2022, Sunday at Windsor Park Stadium at 5 pm

Roseau, Dominica: The celebration of the Independence Day of the Commonwealth of Dominica has begun across the nation. The official launch of the celebration took place on September 24, 2022, Sunday at Windsor Park Stadium at 5 pm. 

November 3 is known as the Independence Day of the country, as they gained freedom from the United Kingdom on November 3, 1978. 

The government of Dominica celebrates independence day every year with several activities. This year, the celebration started on September 30, 2022, and lasted long, at least till November 5, 2022. 

The Commonwealth of Dominica Division of Culture shared the calendar of activities which will take place ahead of Independence Day on November 3.
