Roseau, Dominica: Prime Minister of Dominica- Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, called the people to participate in Ti-Vilaj Kwéyòl, which will be held from Monday, October 24 to Thursday, October 27, 2022. 

The event will be held at Botanic Gardens as part of the celebration of the 44th anniversary of independence. In the event, the people will witness the authentic and vibrant culture of the Nature Isle of the Caribbean. 

He took to social media and added, “Dominica’s culture will be on full display at the Ti-Vilaj Kwéyòl from Monday, October 24 to Thursday, October 27, at the Botanic gardens. Be part of the celebrations to observe our 44th anniversary of independence.” 

On the same breadth, the Ministry of Tourism, International Transports and Maritime Initiatives also asked people to attend Ti-Vilaj Kwéyòl – Tout Biten Domnik. 

The Ministry added, “Are you ready for Ti-Vilaj Kwéyòl – Tout Biten Domnik? Catch a glimpse of what to expect from the lineup flyers posted below. From Monday, October 24 to Thursday, October 27, the Botanic Gardens is the place to be.” 

Earlier, the Tourism ministry also hosted throwback Thursday to, Dominica’s Largest Business to Business Forum, where businesses got the opportunity to showcase their products to Investors, Vendors, Hotels, and New Markets. 

Ti-Vilaj Kwéyòl, carded for October 24to 27th, is an upgraded version to #B2B. An opportunity for visitors and locals to experience Dominica’s culture and products in a centralized location, the Botanic Gardens. 

For the second episode of A Day in Dominica, the Ministry spent some time in the northeastern village of Calibishie. 

Last week Friday, Dominica celebrated a creole Friday in style with Creole In the Streets, an initiative by the National Development Foundation of Dominica Ltd. 

Local businesses, from wellness to cuisine, skincare, jewellery, arts and crafts, and so much more, were on display. Plus, this week is Ti Village Kwéyòl! Visit the Botanical Gardens for more displays and sales of everything local, Tout Biten Domnik.

This month is Dominica’s World Creole Music Festival, where the audience will witness the hottest artists from Burna Boy to Shenseea, Asa Bantan, Jocelyne Board, and Colton performing LIVE in Dominica from October 28 to 30, 2022.
