Dominica hosts Grand Sports Day as part of Isidore celebrations
Roseau, Dominica: Dr Vince Henderson- the Parliamentary Representative for the Grand Bay Constituency and Minister for Planning, Economic Development, Climate Resilience, Sustainable Development, and Renewable Energy of Dominica, shared an update on the Grand Sports Day.
On Tuesday, June 7, 2022, the Grand Bay constituency hosted Grand Sports Day at the Centre Playing Field as part of Isidore celebration.
Dr Vince Henderson stated that the day was amazing as he interacted with different energetic players across the constituency and encouraged them to play sports.
Vince Henderson also encouraged everyone to always take part in these types of initiatives and outlined the importance of sports. He stated that fitness is always derived from sports activities, and to remain always fit and healthy; one always has to indulge and do these physical activities on a daily basis.
He noted, “The Grand Sports Day at the Centre Playing Field as part of Isidore celebrations was awesome. We had a lot of fun. Special thanks to all organizers and participants.”
Dr Vince Henderson extended huge gratitude to the organizers and all the participants who have ensured their support to the day and made it successful.
Further, he encouraged everyone to always remain stick to these kinds of activities and echoed, “Let’s continue working together to make Grand Bay a better place.”
