Dominica hosts 6th annual Caribbean Boxing Championship at Windsor Park Stadium

The Commonwealth of Dominica hosted the 6th annual Caribbean Boxing Championship at the Windsor Park Stadium. The tournament started on December 13, 2022, and the final will be held on December 17, 2022. 

Roseau, Dominica: The Commonwealth of Dominica hosted the 6th annual Caribbean Boxing Championship at the Windsor Park Stadium. The tournament started on December 13, 2022, and the final will be held on December 17, 2022. 

The 6th Annual Caribbean Boxing Championship is started at the Windsor Park Stadium from December 13 to 17. The Government of Dominica is proud to be a major sponsor of this event in an effort to advance the sport of boxing in Dominica.

They thank the Dominica Boxing Association and the Caribbean Boxing Association for choosing Dominica for this year’s championship. A true reflection of the advancements we have made in sports over the years. Come out and support our guys from the Nature Isle. 

The 6th Edition of the Caribbean Boxing Championships is held at the Windsor Park Stadium in Roseau, Dominica. This championship will feature boxers from the entire Caribbean (English, French, Spanish, Dutch), also featuring the USA, Mexico and Poland by invitation. Host country Dominica has confirmed its team. 

The preliminaries were started on December 13, with four days of competition to follow. The finals are scheduled to take place on December 17.

Thirteen National Teams are on the island to participate in the prime event of the Caribbean Boxing Association. The Sport Entries Check, along with the technical meeting, took place earlier today. The official draw and the opening ceremony will take place tomorrow, December 13 @3:30 pm. 

Various people of the Commonwealth of Dominica expressed pleasure with the tournament. One of the users named, Maria Hellen Dubois, stated,” Congratulations to your sports minister and, by extension, kudos to the government of Dominica. That’s the great first time in Dominican history we have a regional tournament taking place in Dominica.”
