Roseau, Dominica: Dominica Grammar School had a perfect day on the field in the Sports Division Secondary Schools Football Championship on Monday, 12 December 2022.
In their Doubleheader against the Goodwill Secondary School in the U15 Division the Dominica Grammar School defeated the Goodwill Secondary School by six goals to 1.
Jervonte Hamilton and Marquish Benjamin scored two goals each with Geovanni George and Grantly Samuel scoring 1 goal each for DGS. D’Andre Peltier scored the consolation goal for Goodwill Secondary School.
In the U20 Division the Dominica Grammar School ran all over the Goodwill Secondary School with a 12 goals to 1 beating. Malachi Bonney found the back of the Net 7 times, Ajani Richards scored 2 goals with Conrad St. Hillaire, Every JonBaptiste and Yawani Registe getting one goal each for DGS. Josimar Gustave got the lone goal for the Goodwill Secondary School.
The Doubleheader scheduled for Dublanc between the Isaiah Thomas Secondary School and the North East Comprehensive School were postponed.
One of the two games scheduled to played on Friday 9 December In the Sports Division Secondary Schools Football competition in the U17 Division took place in StockFarm.
The Castle Bruce Secondary School got a commanding victory over the Goodwill Secondary School by 7 goals to nil, Fabio Drigo, D’Mario Challenger and Turrie Christmas got a brace each and one goal from Bryson Talbert completed the scoring for Castle Bruce Secondary School.
Sports Division Secondary Schools Football returned to the Londonderry playing field on Friday, 9 December, after a long absent in the U17 Division.

The Sports Division of Dominica always worked to enhance the sporting skills of the young generation of the country. Various events such as Independence Parish T-10 cricket tournament, football, volleyball and netball have been hosted by the division to encourage the involvement of the people in Sports.
