Roseau, Dominica: Goodwill Primary School of Dominica secured first position in the standing of the West Central Zone of Athletics Preliminaries. The school topped the chart in both girls and boys categories.
Goodwill Primary School scored 114 points in the overall results of the girls and 107 points in the boys zone.
While moving in the girls category, the second position was captured by St Martin Primary School with 84 points. The Christian Union Primary School stood at the fourth position with 43 points.

Coming to the results of the boys category, the second position was attained by Massacre Primary Schools with 51 points. St. Mary’s Primary School is on the third position with 45 points

The 40th Annual Schools Independence Athletics Championship
Dominica has been hosting the 40th Annual Schools Independence Athletics Championship in the different zones. The schools from different schools participated in the categories such as Junior Girls, Junior Boys, Senior Girls and Senior Boys.
From the West Central district, eight schools have participated in the Championship.
