Dominica: Giraudel/Eggleston Flower Show opened, PM Roosevelt Skerrit shares glimpses
Roseau, Dominica: The Giraudel/Eggleston Flower Show and Market Fair opened in Dominica on Saturday under the theme “50 Years and Still Blooming.” Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit shared glimpses of the opening ceremony.
PM Roosevelt Skerrit, on his official Facebook Page, invited the citizens to visit the flower show site and purchase the flowers and plans. He said, “Visit the Flower Show site to view the beautiful displays and purchase your flowers and plants.”
The Flower Show and Market Fair runs until Tuesday, May 30th, 10 a.m to 8 p.m. daily.
The Ministry of Tourism of Dominica also shared glimpses of the flower show and said, “Nature’s Beauty at its finest. Giraudel-Eggleston Flower Show Site is a feast for the eyes. Come and experience it firsthand.”
It was one of the most talked about events in 2022. The flower show is the scenic mountaintop village of Giraudel and Eggleston from May 27th-30th, 2023 for their Flower Show and Market Fair.More updates coming soon.
The government of Dominica said, “50 Years and Still Blooming. This weekend, from May 27th–30th, 2023, is the Giraudel-Eggleston Flower Show and Market Fair. Spread the word, and invite your friends and family. Let’s make this a weekend to remember.”
Plant Scape also took to Facebook and stated, “It was a lovely day at the Giraudel- Eggleston Flower Show & Market Fair. Thanks to everyone who came by. Join us tomorrow for Day 2 from 11am. Hope to meet with all of you who have already pre ordered and all the new faces.”
