Roseau, Dominica: Fenella Wenham- Parliamentary Representative for Portsmouth constituency invited the residents of Zicack and Chance to attend a community meeting on Thursday, January 5, 2022. The meeting will be started at 6: 30 pm at the Benjamin’s Park Cricket Pavilion.
While inviting the residents, Fenella Wenham noted,” I am inviting the residents of Zicack and Chance to a district meeting at the Benjamin’s Park Cricket Pavilion on Thursday, January 5th from 6:30 pm.”
Fenella Wenham stated that residents are asked to come share ideas as we work together to develop their district. The community meeting will be held with the aim to strengthen the interactions between the people of Zicack and Chance and their parliamentary representative.
The meeting will provide a platform for the residents to exchange their views on different problems they are facing in their daily lives. The problems such as education, employment, protection of local and street vendors, enhancement of sports, upliftment of the local business and products, and many more will be discussed in the community meeting.
After her election as parliamentary representative for the Portsmouth constituency, Fenella Wenham will host the community meeting for the first time with the aim to interact with the local citizens of her constituency and listen to their problems. She promised to deal with the problems faced by the residents.
Earlier, in order to celebrate New Year and Christmas, Fenella Wenham hosted various parties, especially for the children, and created festival vibes across the constituency. She hosted the Children’s Christmas Party on Sunday, December 25, 2022, at the Benjamin’s Park Cricket Pavilion. The party featured various fun activities and events and there was food, drinks, and games. The Santa has also welcomed visitors across the country.
She also extended greetings to the people of Dominica on the occasion of New Year and stated,” I can’t help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation for all that the future holds. The past year has been filled with its ups and downs, but as we look ahead, we can’t help but feel hopeful for what’s to come.”
Outlining her plans for the upliftment of her constituency, Fenella Wenham added:

- Small Business Development and Employment
- Health and Wellness Initiatives/Programs
She cited,” No matter what the past year has brought, it is important to remember that every day is an opportunity for growth and change. As we welcome the new year, let us embrace the promise of a fresh start and the chance to make a positive impact on the town of Portsmouth and Dominica by extension.”
